I'm a software developer and data engineer based in Dallas, TX, currently building data pipelines at Capital One. My background spans full-stack application development and cloud data engineering — I got my start writing developing full stack apps at American Airlines before moving into PySpark and Snowflake pipeline work. I studied Electrical & Computer Engineering at UT Austin 🤘

  • Enhanced large-scale PySpark data pipelines on Amazon EMR, utilizing Snowflake to power email marketing campaigns across Auto Navigator, banking, and card customers.
  • Led the integration of My Garage customer data into core marketing datasets, enabling new email campaigns projected to drive $3M+ in incremental auto loan revenue.
  • Partnered closely with Marketing Business stakeholders to translate evolving campaign requirements into scalable data models, improving customer targeting, data accuracy, and campaign effectiveness.

  • Led a successful full stack rewrite of Squad360 (a taxonomy app), achieving a 90% reduction in deployment time using CI/CD.
  • Developed the UI for WhereWeFly, a new map feature on our internal employee travel tool with over 100k users.
  • Collaborated with AA and Microsoft engineers on a proof of concept for the Pilot ECS app, which was demoed to the Pilot Union.
  • Spearheaded the upgrade of the Pilot Trip Trade System UI from Angular 3 to Angular 15.
  • Optimized application image sizes utilizing multi stage docker builds, leading to a 75% size reduction in the UI build size.

Sourdough Starter Monitoring Project

A mobile-focused monitoring system for tracking the rise and fall of a sourdough starter, with a FastAPI backend serving real-time IoT sensor data. Uses a modular IoT architecture on Raspberry Pi hardware, separating data collection, persistence (SQLite), and API layers for scalability, with cloud and serverless components for deployment.
